intelligoAI vs ArzaMed
Strong clinical records. Priced for a practice that has already grown.
ArzaMed is a serious Italian gestionale built around the cartella clinica — structured clinical documentation, anatomical mapping, professional-body conventions. If the clinical record is the centre of your working day, it is a better fit than we are, and we will say so plainly. Where it gets expensive is everything around that: pricing scales with team size, sits in the €100-180 a month range, requires an annual contract, and there is no free tier and no way to try it without a demo. intelligoAI approaches the same practice from the operational side — calendar, reminders, invoicing, Sistema TS, consent, calls — free up to 150 appointments a month with no contract. Choose on which half of the job actually costs you time.
Pick intelligoAI if
- Scheduling, reminders and billing eat more of your week than charting
- You want to start today without a demo or an annual commitment
- You are a solo practitioner or a small team where per-seat pricing hurts
- You want AI call answering and transcription included
Pick ArzaMed if
- Structured clinical records are the centre of your practice
- You need anatomical mapping or specialty-specific charting
- You rely on ENPAM/ENPAP conventions today

When ArzaMed is the better choice
We are not the right tool for every practice. These are the cases where we would honestly point you elsewhere.
The clinical record is the product for you
Specialties that live in structured charting — physiatry, orthopaedics, anything with anatomical mapping — get more from ArzaMed than from us. Our clinical notes are AI-assisted and fast, but they are not a substitute for a purpose-built cartella clinica.
You depend on professional-body conventions
ENPAM and ENPAP convention handling is built in and working today. If those flows are part of your billing, that is a concrete capability we have not shipped yet.
You are a larger practice that wants a single structured system
At ten-plus practitioners with established clinical protocols, the per-seat cost stops looking unreasonable and the depth starts paying for itself.
Fewer constraints, fewer fixed costs
Built for Italian practices that would rather pay for results than for a seat

How to migrate from ArzaMed
Switching is mostly an export and an import. Most practices are running on the new system within a working day.
- 1
Export your patient list from ArzaMed (anagrafica, contacts and appointment history). Every provider is required to give you your data back under GDPR, even if the export is not a one-click button.
- 2
Create a free intelligoAI account. No demo, no sales call, no card — you can be inside the product in about a minute.
- 3
Import the patient file. We accept CSV and Excel and will map the columns for you if the export format is unusual.
- 4
Reconnect the pieces that live outside the gestionale: Google Calendar sync, your WhatsApp number and your Sistema TS credentials.
- 5
Run both systems in parallel for two to four weeks, then give ArzaMed formal notice once you are confident nothing is missing.
Check your current notice period before you cancel. Several Italian providers require 30 to 90 days of written notice, so it is usually cheaper to run both in parallel for a few weeks than to cancel first.
Frequently asked questions
Is intelligoAI cheaper than ArzaMed?
For a small practice, substantially: under 150 appointments a month intelligoAI is free against €100-180 a month on an annual contract. The gap narrows for large practices, and if you genuinely need ArzaMed's clinical record depth then the cheaper tool is the wrong tool.
What happens if I go over 150 appointments in a month?
You pay €0.25 for each completed appointment between 151 and 500, €0.20 from 501 to 1000, €0.15 from 1001 to 2000 and €0.10 above that. The monthly bill is capped at €249 no matter how busy you get, and a quiet month costs you proportionally less.
Does intelligoAI submit to Sistema Tessera Sanitaria?
Yes. Invoices are generated in the required format and transmitted to Sistema TS, including the data your patients need for the pre-filled 730.
Can I move my data out of ArzaMed myself?
Yes. Under GDPR you have a right to your own data in a portable format, and that applies to ArzaMed like anyone else. We accept CSV and Excel imports and will help map the columns if the export is awkward.
Is there a contract or a minimum term?
No. It is month to month with 30 days notice, no activation fee and no minimum term. Your data stays exportable for as long as the account exists.
